"Sunrot" Life is symbiotic Big is largely subatomic Even planets, mircoscopic Organized, systematic, sonic Seed, plant, embryotic, Super broadcast hypnotic, Defected, discord, harmony, Flaunted, repressed, fiberoptic Cyst, gash, superphonic Rational, insane, pshycotic Abundant superficial mass Focus on those phonetic phonics Persciption, pothead, alcholic High fructose hunger, diabolic Placid, calm, chaotic, entropy Decline, fertile, caustic So tell me why do we fight When the both want peace? So set us free! How can we be so oblivious to what we are? Don't die dreaming... Now is the time that we reach our peak! The truth we seek... Overrides the minds, invade, conquer, & colonize! We'll all die dreaming... [It feels so] Good to... [It's feels so] Great to be alive.. Alright! Now die!!! Never know the answers to We are meant to be confused If you seek you shall find I have eyes but I am blind I do not know what I see A volumetric mess indeed Don't look to far for what you seek This picture is perfect incomplete [It feels so] Good to... [It's feels so] Great to be alive.. Alright! Now die!!!

about

These tracks capture the early stages of "Ions And Atrophy" circa (2010 - 2012)

Endless Dreams: I started writing this track after "The Angle Obscure" (My previous band, that I composed & played bass for) went our separate ways. Punk was a huge influence for me when I started playing guitar & in my early high school bands, I would write a bunch of 3 chord songs that I would tab out the guitar parts and accompanying parts in Guitar Pro. After "The Angle Obscure" I wanted to revisit those early influences but with some technical riffs peppered throughout the tune. I recall tracking all the guitars, bass & vocals for this song at my parent's place on my old Desktop PC while I was going through a bit of a phase of crashing on couches, working odd jobs & playing the occasional cover gig with my buddies from high school. Also, this was my 1st recording with Toontracks Drumkit from hell! :D

Sunrot: This track reminds me of the summer(s) of 2010 & 2011 when me and Nick Nygaard, Brett Hertzog, Tyler Olson & Ben Milke would jam these tunes (+ other unreleased tracks) in Nick's mom's garage. Nick, Brett & I recorded this song in my dad's pole shed on my old desktop over the span of a weekend, mid-summer of 2011. Also, it would be good to note that the vocals were heavily influenced by my recently acquired taste for local hip-hop at the time (Eyedea & Abilities, Slug, Mammoth, etc..)

Guitar & Bass tabs included (PDF) with your purchase & additional instrumentation is available by request!
